The primary objective of the Lab is to ask relevant, targeted questions about inequality, and use every tool available (empirical, experimental, and theoretical) to answer these questions. The broader objective of the lab is to use scientific methods rather than anecdotal or ideological reasoning to improve public decision making and policy around issues related to inequality in the U.S.
